What Exclaimer does
Left to individual staff, email signatures drift. Job titles go out of date, logos get stretched, the company details UK businesses are expected to show on business email disappear, and mail sent from phones goes out with "Sent from my iPhone" and nothing else. Exclaimer fixes that by taking signatures out of users' hands and managing them centrally in the cloud.
An administrator, or someone in marketing with the right role, designs signature templates in a drag-and-drop editor. Exclaimer fills in each person's name, title, department and contact details from your directory (Microsoft Entra ID or Google Directory), so when a record is updated the signature follows. Depending on the edition, different templates and banners can be applied to different groups, departments or brands, and banner campaigns can be scheduled to start and stop automatically.
The Pro edition also covers meeting branding, applying branded video backgrounds and nametags to online meetings from the same dashboard, plus usage and engagement dashboards for signatures and banners. Exclaimer works with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Microsoft Exchange, including on-premises and hybrid Exchange.

How Exclaimer is licensed
Exclaimer is licensed per active mailbox. Exclaimer defines a mailbox as an individual email address that gets a signature applied, so shared mailboxes that send with a signature count too, and addresses that never get a signature do not need a licence.
