In short: Cynet is a security vendor whose single platform covers endpoint protection, EDR, network detection, deception, identity, email and SaaS security, with Cynet's CyOps 24x7 MDR service included on the Elite and All-in-One packages. Forever Systems supplies Cynet per endpoint, quotes the right package and add-ons, and manages renewals and changes for you.
What Cynet does
Cynet makes an AI-driven security platform aimed at organisations with lean security teams, or none at all. Its approach is consolidation: one agent, one console and one team, instead of separate products for antivirus, EDR, network monitoring, identity protection and email security.
The platform brings together:
- Endpoint security: next-generation malware prevention, EDR and automated remediation on Windows, macOS and Linux
- Network detection and user behaviour analytics: spotting suspicious traffic and unusual account activity, plus deception decoys that expose attackers moving through the network
- Identity threat detection and response (ITDR): protection for identity systems such as Active Directory against credential theft and lateral movement
- Email, SaaS and cloud security: protection for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace mailboxes, and posture management for Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure and other services
- Mobile threat protection for Android, iOS and ChromeOS
- SIEM and log management in the same console
- CyAI and CyOps: Cynet's AI engine automates investigation and response, and its CyOps analysts provide 24x7 managed detection and response
Earlier versions of the platform were marketed as Cynet 360 and Cynet 360 AutoXDR. Today Cynet sells it as one platform in three packages: Protect, Elite and All-in-One.
Cynet products we supply
- Cynet All-in-One platform: the Protect, Elite and All-in-One packages, compared feature by feature
- Cynet CyOps MDR: the 24x7 managed detection and response service included with Elite and All-in-One, and the Platinum Care upgrade
- Cynet SIEM: log collection, search, correlation and retention, as an add-on to Protect and Elite or included in All-in-One
| Package | In one line | 24x7 CyOps MDR |
|---|---|---|
| Protect | Endpoint protection with basic EDR, network detection, behaviour analytics and deception | Not included |
| Elite | Full EDR, with optional ITDR, XDR correlation, SaaS posture and SOAR add-ons | Included |
| All-in-One | Elite plus email security, ITDR, XDR, SaaS posture, attack surface management, SIEM and web filtering | Included |
How Cynet is licensed
Cynet is licensed per endpoint: each protected workstation or server counts towards your licence. You choose one package for the estate, and add-ons such as SIEM, mobile threat protection or CyOps Platinum Care are added to the same subscription rather than bought as separate products. Through us, Cynet usage is invoiced monthly on your Forever Systems account.
- Package first: Protect, Elite or All-in-One, then only the add-ons that close a gap
- Changes: we handle increases in endpoint count, package upgrades and add-ons
- Onboarding: Cynet includes onboarding and installation support with every package, and we coordinate it with you
The add-on rules for each package are set out on the Cynet All-in-One platform page. Prices depend on the package, endpoint count and add-ons, so ask us for a quote. For a general explanation of counting devices, see per-user vs per-device licensing.
Buying Cynet through Forever Systems
Choosing a Cynet package is mostly a question of how much you want handled for you. We start by looking at your estate, your identity platform, your email system and any compliance or cyber insurance requirements, then recommend a package and only the add-ons that close a real gap.
Once you order, we arrange onboarding, help deploy the agent across your devices and make sure the CyOps team has the right contacts and escalation routes. Your Cynet subscription sits on the same Forever Systems account and invoice as your other software, and we track the renewal so it never lapses unexpectedly.
If you already run a separate antivirus, email filter or SIEM, we can plan a staged migration so you are never unprotected while products are swapped.
Who Cynet suits
Cynet suits small and mid-sized UK organisations with a lean IT team: professional services, manufacturing, education, healthcare suppliers and multi-site businesses. It is a good fit when you want EDR and 24x7 monitoring but cannot staff a security operations centre.
It also helps with evidence for Cyber Essentials, cyber insurance questionnaires and supply-chain security reviews, because protection, detection and response records are held in one console.

Contact usFrequently asked questions
Is Cynet licensed per user or per endpoint?
Per endpoint. Each protected workstation or server counts towards the licence, and add-ons such as SIEM or CyOps Platinum Care are added to the same subscription.
Does Cynet include MDR?
The Elite and All-in-One packages include Cynet's CyOps 24x7 managed detection and response service. The Protect package does not include MDR.
What happened to Cynet 360 AutoXDR?
Cynet 360 and Cynet 360 AutoXDR were earlier names for the Cynet platform. The same platform is now sold as three packages: Protect, Elite and All-in-One.
Can Cynet replace our existing antivirus?
Yes. The Cynet agent provides next-generation malware prevention as well as EDR, so it is normally deployed in place of your current antivirus. We plan the switch-over so devices stay protected throughout.
