What IRONSCALES does
IRONSCALES is an email security company. Its platform sits inside your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant rather than in front of it: it connects by API, so there is no MX record change, and it inspects mail in the mailbox, where it can still act after delivery. It combines AI detection of phishing, business email compromise (BEC) and impersonation with reports from your own staff, who flag suspicious messages with a button in Outlook. When a message is confirmed as malicious, IRONSCALES removes it from every mailbox that received it.
Around that core, IRONSCALES sells account takeover detection, security awareness training and phishing simulation, DMARC management and outbound email encryption, all managed from the same console. Many organisations use it alongside a secure email gateway or alongside Microsoft's built-in filtering to catch what gets through.
IRONSCALES also applies AI to the work that follows detection: its agentic AI classifies, clusters and remediates threats, including messages your staff report, according to the settings you choose. Beyond email, IRONSCALES extends protection to Microsoft Teams and Google Chat and offers deepfake meeting protection; we confirm what is included in your plan when we quote. For a small IT team the result is fewer reported emails to triage by hand and faster removal of anything that does get through.

How IRONSCALES is licensed
Most IRONSCALES products are licensed per user, meaning each protected mailbox user. DMARC management is licensed per domain. Bundles such as Complete Protect combine email protection, account takeover protection and awareness training in one per-user licence, which is usually simpler than buying the parts separately.
We bill IRONSCALES monthly on your Forever Systems account, and the user count can be adjusted as people join and leave. Prices depend on product, bundle and user numbers, so ask us for a quote. Requirements and deployment
IRONSCALES email protection works with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) and Google Workspace. Deployment is an admin consent in your tenant, after which IRONSCALES begins learning normal mail patterns; there is no change to mail routing. The Outlook report-phishing add-in is deployed centrally. Email encryption and account takeover protection currently cover Microsoft 365.
Because nothing changes in mail flow, it can be trialled alongside your existing filtering and removed cleanly if needed.
