What Bitdefender does
Bitdefender is a security software company known to the public for its home antivirus. Its business range is a separate platform called GravityZone: one agent on each device and one cloud console for policies, alerts, reports and response.
GravityZone is built in layers. The core layer is endpoint protection: machine learning malware prevention, exploit defence, continuous process monitoring, network attack defence, web filtering, content control, device control and endpoint risk analytics. On top of that you can switch on extra modules as you need them:

How Bitdefender GravityZone is licensed
When you buy GravityZone through Forever Systems it is delivered from our multi-tenant GravityZone console, using Bitdefender's monthly, consumption-based licensing for service providers:
- What you pay for: the endpoints that are protected, plus whichever modules or packages are switched on for them
- Monthly billing: usage is measured each month, so adding a laptop or retiring a server changes the next invoice without a new order
- No licence keys: devices are enrolled with an installer tied to your company in the console, so there are no keys to track or renew
- No minimum commitment: Bitdefender states there are no minimum commitments on this licensing, so small offices are fine
Organisations that buy direct from Bitdefender use its separate business plans (GravityZone Business Security, Business Security Premium and Business Security Enterprise).
