What Addigy does
Addigy is an Apple-only device management company. Its platform combines mobile device management (MDM) with a live agent on each Mac, so IT can see and act on devices in real time rather than waiting for the next check-in.
That matters because many UK organisations now run a mixed estate: Windows laptops managed one way, and a growing number of Macs, iPhones and iPads that nobody is really looking after. Addigy is designed to close that gap without needing an Apple specialist on the team. In outline, the platform covers:
- Enrolment and policy: zero-touch enrolment through Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager, and settings pushed to groups of devices
- Apps and updates: prebuilt apps, your own packages, a Self Service portal and enforced OS updates
- Live support: remote access to Macs, a live terminal and real-time alerts
- Identity: Addigy Identity, which can replace the Mac login window with a sign-in backed by Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or Google Workspace

How Addigy is licensed
Addigy is licensed per device, not per user. A member of staff with a MacBook and an iPhone uses two device licences.
- Device types: Macs are licensed on the Mac plans, and iOS-family devices (iPhone, iPad and Apple TV) are licensed separately, so the quote shows each count
- Billing: monthly, on your Forever Systems invoice alongside your other subscriptions
- Commitment: Addigy subscriptions through us carry a minimum commitment, which we explain and confirm before you order
- Changes: add devices as you buy them, and retire licences when hardware leaves the business, at the next billing point
- Trial: Addigy offers a free trial of the full platform, so you can test enrolment and policies on a handful of devices first

- We scope your estate: count Macs and iOS devices, check which are already in Apple Business Manager and agree what policies you need.
- We set up the foundations: Apple Push Notification certificate, Apple Business Manager link, identity provider integration and your Self Service branding.
- We build policies: security baseline, update deadlines, standard apps and Wi-Fi or VPN profiles, tested on pilot devices.

Is Addigy licensed per user or per device?
Per device. Each enrolled Mac, iPhone, iPad or Apple TV needs a licence, and Macs and iOS-family devices are counted separately on the quote.
Do I need Apple Business Manager to use Addigy?
Not strictly, because devices can be enrolled manually. Apple Business Manager is free and is needed for zero-touch enrolment, so we recommend it and can set it up for you.
Can Addigy manage Windows PCs?
No. Addigy manages Apple devices only. Windows is usually managed with Microsoft Intune or another tool, and Addigy can run alongside it.
Can we buy Addigy monthly?
