In short: Through Forever Systems you can buy Google Workspace (Business, Enterprise, Essentials, Frontline and Archived User licences), Cloud Identity Premium, Cameyo virtual app delivery and Google Cloud consumption. Workspace is licensed per user on a Flexible monthly plan or an Annual/Fixed-Term plan; we handle edition changes, user counts and renewals for you.
What Google sells to businesses
Most organisations know Google for search, but its business portfolio is a set of subscription services that run entirely in Google's cloud. The one most people mean when they ask about Google licensing is Google Workspace: Gmail on your own domain, Drive and shared drives, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Chat, Calendar, Forms and Sites, managed from the Google Admin console. Google has built its Gemini AI assistant into Business and Enterprise editions, so there is no longer a separate AI subscription to buy for the core features.
Around Workspace sit services that solve neighbouring problems. Cloud Identity Premium gives you Google's identity, single sign-on and device management without needing the rest of Workspace. Cameyo by Google streams Windows applications to a browser, which helps organisations moving to ChromeOS or away from full virtual desktops. Google Cloud is Google's public cloud for compute, storage, data and AI, billed on what you consume.
Everything is a subscription. You are licensing access for named users (or, for Google Cloud, paying for usage), not buying software to install.

Education and nonprofit editions of Workspace are licensed differently and depend on Google confirming eligibility; our education and charity licensing guide explains how that works.
How Google licensing works
Google Workspace and Cloud Identity Premium are licensed per user. Each person who signs in needs a licence for their edition, and shared addresses can usually be handled with Google Groups rather than paid seats. Google offers two payment plans for Workspace:
- Flexible Plan: billed monthly with no commitment; users can be added or removed at any time and the bill follows
- Annual/Fixed-Term Plan: a commitment of at least a year at a lower per-user rate than Flexible; you can add users at any time, but the licence count can only come down at renewal
The full side-by-side comparison of the two plans is on our Google Workspace editions page.
Business editions are capped at 300 users; Enterprise, Essentials and Frontline editions have no cap. Archived User licences are a separate subscription that sits alongside your main edition. Cameyo is a per-user subscription on 12, 24 or 36 month terms, with a minimum of 50 licences for a new subscription. Google Cloud is not licensed per user at all: it is billed monthly in arrears for what your projects use.
Google changes features and limits regularly, especially around Gemini, so we confirm the current edition comparison when we quote. Terms bought through a reseller can differ in detail from buying direct, so we set ours out in writing. Our guide to monthly vs annual licences helps with the plan decision.
Protecting Google Workspace
Google keeps Workspace running, but it does not undo your own users' mistakes for ever. Deleted files and mail leave the bin after a fixed period, and Google Vault (in Business Plus, Enterprise and some other editions) is a retention and eDiscovery tool, not a backup you can restore a whole account from. If losing a mailbox or a shared drive would hurt, add independent Google Workspace backup such as Keepit for Google Workspace, Acronis Backup for Google Workspace or Redstor Google Workspace backup.
It is also worth tightening the basics: enforce 2-Step Verification, review sharing settings for Drive, set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your domain, and consider dedicated email security. We can help with all of these.
Buying Google through Forever Systems
- Scope: we count your users, look at how they work and recommend an edition (or a mix of editions where Google allows it).
- Quote: ask us for a quote and we set out editions, user counts, plan and term.
- Set up or transfer: new customers get a Workspace account on our reseller account; existing customers can usually transfer their subscription to us without changing users, data or domain.
- Run: adding and removing users, upgrades, Archived User licences and renewals are handled by us, on one invoice with your other software.
We also plan migrations from other email platforms. Microsoft subscriptions are not sold on this site: see Forever Group's Microsoft licensing team if you are comparing the two.

Contact usFrequently asked questions
Are you a Google Workspace reseller?
Yes. Forever Systems supplies Google Workspace subscriptions to UK organisations, along with Cloud Identity Premium, Cameyo and Google Cloud, billed on one account with your other software.
Can I move my existing Google Workspace subscription to you?
Usually, yes. A Workspace subscription can be transferred to a new reseller without changing your users, mail, files or domain. We take you through the steps and match your current edition and plan.
Is Google Workspace cheaper on an annual plan?
Google's Annual/Fixed-Term Plan has a lower per-user cost than the Flexible Plan, but you cannot reduce licences until renewal. Ask us for a quote on both and we will show you the difference for your user count.
Is Gemini included in Google Workspace?
Yes, in every Business and Enterprise edition. Business Starter includes Gemini in Gmail and Vids, the Gemini app and basic access to Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM). From Business Standard upwards, Gemini also works inside Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Meet and Chat, with higher usage limits.
Do you sell Microsoft 365 as well?
Not on this site. Microsoft subscriptions are handled by Forever Group's Microsoft licensing team.
