Cynet All-in-One platform licensing: Protect, Elite and All-in-One

What each Cynet package includes, which add-ons are available, how the platform is licensed and what you need to deploy it.

In short: The Cynet All-in-One platform is Cynet's single-agent security platform, sold in three packages. Protect gives endpoint protection with basic EDR; Elite adds full EDR and 24x7 CyOps MDR; All-in-One adds email security, ITDR, SaaS posture, XDR, SOAR, SIEM and attack surface management. Every package is licensed per endpoint.

What the Cynet platform is

The Cynet platform is one console and one agent covering most of the security layers a mid-sized organisation needs. The agent collects telemetry from endpoints, users and the network, Cynet's CyAI engine correlates it, and automated responses act on confirmed threats: isolating a device, killing a process, disabling a compromised account or removing a malicious file.

Every package shares the same core: the unified platform, endpoint protection (EPP), network detection and response (NDR), user behaviour analytics (UBA), deception technology, enterprise support, and onboarding and installation. The packages differ in how deep the EDR goes, which other layers are switched on and whether Cynet's analysts watch the platform for you.

Protect suits smaller or simpler estates that want strong prevention and have someone in-house to handle alerts. Elite is the usual choice for organisations that need 24x7 monitoring, or that face compliance or insurance requirements for EDR and MDR. All-in-One consolidates email security, identity protection and SIEM into the same subscription, and often replaces several separate products. Details of the managed service are on our Cynet CyOps MDR page.

How the Cynet platform is licensed

Each package is licensed per endpoint: workstations and servers running the Cynet agent count towards your total. You pick one package for the estate and add options on top, all on one subscription.

ItemAvailable onHow it is added
Protect, Elite or All-in-OneBase packagePer endpoint, one package across the organisation

Through us, Cynet is invoiced monthly in line with the endpoints you protect. Ask us for a quote based on your endpoint count and the add-ons you need.

Requirements and deployment

Cynet is managed from a cloud console. Deployment involves:

  • Endpoints: the Cynet agent installs on Windows, macOS and Linux workstations and servers; Cynet describes it as one agent with no kernel module to maintain
  • Mobile: mobile threat protection covers Android, iOS and ChromeOS devices
  • Email and SaaS: All-in-One connects to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for email protection, and to Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure and other services for posture management
  • Identity: ITDR monitors identity systems such as Active Directory

Rollout normally uses your existing software deployment tools, starting with a pilot group, then the wider estate, with the old antivirus removed as Cynet takes over. Cynet includes onboarding and installation with every package, and we coordinate it alongside your own team.

How Forever Systems helps

We help you choose between Protect, Elite and All-in-One by mapping the packages against what you already own, so you do not pay twice for email security or SIEM. We then supply the licences, coordinate onboarding, plan the removal of your old antivirus and make sure response permissions and contacts are set up properly for CyOps.

After go-live, endpoint increases, package upgrades and add-ons are handled on your Forever Systems account. If you want to compare Cynet with other platforms first, see EDR, XDR and MDR, anti-ransomware and identity, MFA and privileged access.

How Forever Systems supplies your software licences

Forever Systems Ltd supplies business software subscriptions to UK organisations from one account, with one monthly invoice and a UK team who know the products.

  • The right edition first time: we check what you need before you buy, so you are not paying for features you will never use
  • Monthly or annual terms where the vendor offers them, and help timing renewals and commitments
  • Licence changes handled for you: add or remove users, upgrade editions and true-up without starting a new contract
  • Deployment and support from engineers who run these products every day, not just a reseller account

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Cynet Elite and All-in-One?

Both include full EDR and 24x7 CyOps MDR. All-in-One also includes email security, external attack surface management, ITDR, XDR correlation, SaaS and cloud posture management, SOAR, SIEM and web filtering. On Elite, email security and attack surface management are not available, and the rest are add-ons.

Does Cynet Protect include MDR?

No. Protect provides endpoint protection, basic EDR, network detection and deception without the CyOps 24x7 MDR service. Choose Elite or All-in-One if you want Cynet's analysts monitoring around the clock.

Which operating systems does Cynet support?

The Cynet agent supports Windows, macOS and Linux. Mobile threat protection covers Android, iOS and ChromeOS.

Can I upgrade from Elite to All-in-One later?

Yes. All three packages run on the same platform and agent, so moving up is a licence change rather than a new product. We handle the change on your account and confirm what extra configuration the new features need.
