What x360Cloud is
Microsoft and Google keep their services running, but under their shared responsibility models, recovering data that your own users delete, overwrite or lose to ransomware is largely your job. Recycle bins and retention policies help for a while, but they are not an independent backup.
x360Cloud copies your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace data into the Axcient Cloud, separate from the cloud your live data runs in. It backs up several times a day and can keep data for departed staff and deactivated accounts, so you can still recover it after their licence has been removed.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the console supports multi-factor authentication.
How x360Cloud is licensed
x360Cloud is licensed per protected user, billed monthly. Storage is pooled across your organisation at a flat fee under Axcient's Fair Use Policy, so heavy and light users balance out and you do not track storage per mailbox.
You need a Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant to protect; x360Cloud does not include those subscriptions. For Microsoft 365 licences themselves, see Forever Group's Microsoft licensing service.

Requirements and deployment
x360Cloud is cloud-to-cloud, so there is nothing to install on your computers. Setup connects the service to your tenant with an administrator's consent, after which users and data are picked up for the first backup, and the portal shows progress until that first backup completes.
