What HacWare security awareness training is
HacWare's platform combines simulated phishing and staff training in one cloud service that runs largely on its own. HacWare mines the web daily for real phishing messages and its AI uses them to generate simulations, so tests resemble what staff actually receive rather than a fixed template library. Simulations go out on a schedule you set, and anyone who falls for one is given a short lesson on what they missed.
Training is delivered as micro videos of under three minutes, each followed by a quiz question, plus pop quizzes and newsletters to keep security in front of staff between lessons. Reminders chase anyone who has not finished. After repeated reminders, nominated security contacts are alerted, and if training still goes unanswered an escalation email goes to a leadership contact you set.
HacWare also measures costly behaviour across the organisation and reports it as a human-error risk assessment, and every tier includes a policy manager for your security policies. There is nothing to install on devices: HacWare connects to your email platform.

The LMS adds pre-built lesson plans covering compliance areas including CIS Control 14, ISO/IEC, NIST, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, SOX, FISMA and FACTA. This is the tier to choose if an insurer, auditor or customer wants course completion records rather than phishing results alone.
Lighter Phish Basic and LMS Lite options are also available to order. HacWare does not describe them on its public plans page, so we confirm what they include if one looks right for a small team.

Shared mailboxes and service accounts that nobody reads do not need training, so we agree the user list with you before ordering. Prices depend on users, tier and term, so ask us for a quote.
Requirements and deployment
HacWare is cloud-hosted. To deploy it we need:
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace: HacWare integrates with Outlook and Gmail. Business email compromise simulations, injected directly into inboxes, are available only for Microsoft 365 users.
- Allowlisting in your email security filter, so simulations are delivered rather than blocked
- A staff list, ideally with departments and managers so escalations and reports make sense
- Mobile numbers for staff in scope of SMS phishing, if you choose the Plus + SMS tier
New email addresses added to your domain can be enrolled into a pre-selected training plan automatically, which keeps starters covered. A typical rollout starts with a baseline phishing test, then turns on regular simulations and the training schedule. Training videos and quizzes are available in English and Spanish.
