In short: Check Point Harmony Browse, now officially Check Point Browser Security, is a browser extension that blocks zero-day phishing, malicious downloads and corporate password reuse in real time. It is licensed per user in Basic or Advanced packages, billed monthly, and its core protections are already included in every Harmony Endpoint edition.
What Harmony Browse is
Harmony Browse is Check Point's browser security product, which Check Point's website now calls Check Point Browser Security (the Check Point Portal labels it Browse Security). It is a lightweight extension that inspects pages and downloads as users browse, rather than sending web traffic through a proxy, so it works the same in the office, at home or on public Wi-Fi.
It is distinct from the Enterprise Browser that Check Point offers as part of its SASE range: Harmony Browse protects the browsers your staff already use, such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, rather than replacing them. Our specialist site covers Check Point Harmony Browse in more depth.
What it protects against
- Zero-phishing: analyses each page in real time to block new phishing sites that have never been seen before, not just known bad addresses
- Corporate password protection: warns or blocks when a user types their work password into a site that is not a company one, one of the most common ways credentials leak
- Safe downloads: multi-layer malware blocking, sandboxing and file sanitisation, so users get a clean copy of a document quickly
- URL filtering and safe search to enforce acceptable use by category
- Data loss and GenAI controls: prevents sensitive data being shared through web applications or pasted into generative AI tools, with visibility of which AI tools are in use
Events appear in the Check Point Portal next to your endpoint and email security events.
Basic and Advanced packages
We supply Harmony Browse in two per-user packages:
| Package | Typical fit |
|---|---|
| Browse Basic | Core in-browser protection: zero-phishing, corporate password protection, protection against malicious downloads, URL filtering and safe search |
| Browse Advanced | Everything in Basic, plus browser-based data loss prevention and GenAI protection |
We confirm exactly which features each package includes on your quote before you commit.
Check what you already own. Every Harmony Endpoint edition from Basic upwards includes browser protection (zero-phishing, URL filtering and password reuse protection) delivered through the same extension. If you run Harmony Endpoint on a device, you usually do not need a separate Browse licence for it. Browse on its own suits devices without the endpoint agent, such as contractors' machines, virtual desktops or devices protected by another antivirus product. Harmony Browse is also offered as an add-on to Harmony Email & Collaboration.
How it is licensed and deployed
Harmony Browse is a per-user subscription. Through Forever Systems it is provisioned in your Check Point Portal tenant and billed monthly on the users covered, so you can add a group of contractors for a project and remove them afterwards. You choose Basic or Advanced for the users concerned.
Deployment is through browser management: the extension is force-installed on managed devices with Microsoft Intune, Group Policy or Google's Chrome browser management, and policy is set centrally. It can also be deployed on unmanaged devices. Because it does not need a network change or a proxy, it can be rolled out in stages, one group of users at a time.
Who it suits and how we help
Harmony Browse suits organisations that want quick-to-deploy protection against phishing and credential theft for remote and hybrid staff, those with contractors or virtual desktops where a full endpoint agent is not appropriate, and those worried about staff pasting company data into public AI tools.
We check which of your devices already get browser protection through Harmony Endpoint, so you do not pay twice, recommend Basic or Advanced for the rest, deploy the extension through your management tools and handle licence changes month to month. Ask us for a quote, or compare other options on our secure enterprise browsers page.

How is Harmony Browse licensed?
Per user, in Basic or Advanced packages, billed monthly through Forever Systems. We confirm the features in each package on your quote.
Which browsers does Harmony Browse support?
It runs as an extension in mainstream browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. We confirm current support for the browsers and operating systems in your estate before deployment.
Is Harmony Browse the same as Check Point Enterprise Browser?
No. Harmony Browse, now Check Point Browser Security, protects the browsers your staff already use. The Enterprise Browser is a separate product in Check Point's SASE range.
