In short: Foxit eSign is an electronic signature platform for preparing documents, collecting signatures, tracking progress and storing completed agreements. eSign Business includes unlimited envelopes and templates, bulk sending, signing order, signable web forms, integrations and audit trails. It is licensed per user, with an education and non-profit edition for eligible organisations.

What Foxit eSign is

Foxit eSign replaces print, sign, scan and email with an online signing process. You upload a document, place signature, date and other fields, choose who signs and in what order, and send it. Signers receive an email link and sign in their browser, and Foxit also offers mobile app signing. Every action is recorded in an audit trail, and the completed document comes back with a certificate.

Foxit eSign Business is the plan for teams and organisations that send documents regularly. It also connects to Foxit PDF Editor, so documents can be prepared and sent for signature without leaving the editor.

Foxit states a minimum of five licences for eSign Business; we confirm any minimum for your order when we quote. Pricing depends on edition and user count, so ask us for a quote.

Foxit Connectors are no-code integrations that link Foxit document and signing workflows to more than 40 business platforms, such as HR, recruitment, finance and cloud storage systems. They trigger routing, notifications and storage based on document actions and keep document status visible across systems, without developer work.

Are e-signatures legally binding in the UK?

Electronic signatures are recognised in UK law under the Electronic Communications Act 2000 and UK eIDAS, and are routinely used for commercial contracts, employment documents, supplier agreements and consent forms. Foxit states that eSign supports legally binding electronic and digital signatures and aligns with major global e-signature laws.

Some documents have special rules, such as wills, certain deeds and some property transactions, so check with your legal adviser before moving those to e-signature. For everyday business documents, the audit trail and signature certificate provide the evidence of who signed, when and how.

Who it suits and how we help

eSign Business suits HR teams onboarding staff, sales and account teams sending contracts, schools collecting consent forms, charities collecting gift aid declarations, and any team that sends documents for signature every week. The education and non-profit edition suits eligible organisations.

We set up your account, users and branding, build your common templates, connect Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and handle licence changes and renewals on one monthly invoice. Compare other e-signature options or contact us for a quote.
