In short: Redstor is a cloud backup and recovery platform, now part of CyberSentriq, that protects Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure virtual machines and storage, Kubernetes and accounting applications such as Xero from one web app, with no hardware. Backups are immutable, malware-scanned and can be stored in UK data centres.
What Redstor does
Redstor provides cloud backup and recovery that you manage from a single web-based app. It covers SaaS applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, public cloud workloads in Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes clusters on Azure and AWS, servers and endpoints, and business applications such as Xero, without any backup appliances to buy or maintain.
In June 2025 the investor Bregal Milestone formed CyberSentriq by acquiring the email security company TitanHQ and merging it with Redstor. Redstor's backup is now sold as Redstor Backup and Recovery powered by CyberSentriq, and the wider CyberSentriq family also includes email security, email archiving, phishing protection and DNS filtering. The backup service itself, its app and its data centres carry on under the Redstor name.
Two features set Redstor apart. InstantData streams the files you need first, so people can get back to work while the rest of a restore runs in the background. And Redstor scans new and changed backup data for malware, which reduces the risk of restoring ransomware along with your files.

How Redstor is licensed
Each data source is a separate Redstor service, so you only pay for what you protect. Redstor describes its pricing as pay as you grow: the cost follows the amount of data you protect, with no hardware to buy, no egress fees and no hidden fees. Redstor also sells bundles for common combinations:

Where your data is stored
You choose the region your backups are stored in. Redstor's UK storage sites are in Reading, Slough, Hoddesdon and Gloucester, with temporary processing in Cardiff and London, where data is processed but not stored. Other storage regions are Germany, the United States, Hong Kong, Australia and South Africa. Data is kept off-site, isolated from your live environment, with redundancy across multiple sites.
