What Acronis Security Awareness Training is
Technical controls stop most attacks, but a convincing phishing email or a phone call pretending to be the bank still relies on a person making the right call. Acronis Security Awareness Training (SAT) teaches staff to recognise those moments, using short videos rather than long annual modules, and tests them with realistic phishing simulations.
It is switched on from the Acronis Cyber Platform (formerly Cyber Protect Cloud) console, so if you already use Acronis for backup or security there is no new portal to learn and no separate supplier to manage.

Acronis positions the training to help with requirements in frameworks such as GDPR, PCI DSS, SOC 2 and HIPAA, as well as cyber insurance conditions and customer or supplier security questionnaires.
How it is licensed
Through service providers, Acronis Security Awareness Training is a monthly usage licence on Acronis Cyber Platform; IT departments buying directly can take it as an annual subscription instead. Through Forever Systems it is billed monthly and follows the people you enrol, so you can add seasonal staff for a few months and remove them afterwards.

Deployment and running it
There is nothing to install on devices. We add your users, set up an initial baseline phishing simulation, then assign a starter course and the monthly video series. After that, simulations run on a schedule you agree, and reports show who has completed training and who clicked on a simulated link so you can target follow-up.
We recommend telling staff before the first simulation that the programme is starting: the aim is to build habits and a reporting culture, not to catch people out.
